The vision of Dreaming Bear Retreat is to be the house that love built.
This house is truly built on love – literally. Before the foundation dried, we etched a heart into the concrete to set the tone for everything that would rise from it. Love is at the core of Dreaming Bear Retreat.
Even the animals approve. On a quiet Sunday morning, we discovered this heart-shaped deer print on site, a gentle symbol, as if nature herself had gifted us her sacred seal of approval.
Every product, every company, every subcontractor involved with this project has been hand-selected to represent the best for humanity.
We’ve intentionally sought out blue companies that support the kind of world we choose to live in. We researched every company and talked with each sub to verify that we’re voting with our dollars.
We choose a world where kindness is abundant, and that’s prevalent in all of our team members. This is a house built by kindness.
We take kindness to others one step further, as we’ve also selected the most sustainable materials that are kind to the planet.
Our goal to use only sustainable materials extends to our live green roof on the house (covered with clover!), the addition of solar panels, electric car chargers (from the solar), the most environmentally friendly rated windows, “green” floors that use 1/10th the natural resources to create, hemp insulation and more.
