April 26th- May 16th – Almost home…
As you can tell from an upload of more than 100 photos at the same time, life has been extraordinarily busy lately. The house is moving along, preparing for all of the final inspections and for our move-in date of May 21st.
As you might see from the photos, the crew got a lot done including,
- Completion of the railing for the stairs
- Planting of the critical area to restore native habitat
- Landscaping of the breezeway underneath the kitchen portion of the house adding large rock steps
- Working on the mountain backsplash (still have to fix a few things)
- Electrical trim complete- and inspected
- Plumbing trim complete and approved
- Rafi and his crew are busy with interior trim, and painting touch ups
- James and Jaden built the pantry
- Smart Closets installed the closets in the bedrooms
- The mudroom wall is complete and ready for stain
- The office bookshelves are complete and waiting for stain
- I hung the stars in the starry ceiling in the master bedroom (still have to finish the ceiling, paint it then cut the excess fiber optic strands)
- Cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning!
- The electrical crew hung the snowball pendants above the kitchen counter tops and they are stunning!
- The quartz crystal ring light was hung in the dining room!
- The three chandeliers arrived from Hong Kong. They are almost installed!
- The exterior final grade has been completed and now we’re ready for the installation of the concrete for the front porch and the apron to the garage/driveway.
- The weather has been beautiful, the forest is SO green and the flowers are blooming!
My apologies for the delay in this posting but I unexpectedly spent more than a week in the hospital dealing with a medical issue. Thanks to James, Allan, Jaden and all of the subs for your outstanding work. Know how much we appreciate you!
